Verwood Rotary are pleased to report that the Under 7s Verwood Football club have been delighted to use their dry robes today, which we were able to have funded . This no doubt helped them on their way to an 11-5 win in the torrential rain.
Commenting on the new robes Verwood Rotary Group Youth officer, Leslie Jones said “For me as Verwood Rotary Group Youth officer, this makes me extremely proud of our club in its endeavours in reaching out and helping the local community, in accordance with the fundamental principles of Rotary It is personally heart-warming, especially so in these dark times and wet days !”
