A productive and heart-warming start to the weekend for our Rotary team and volunteers. We sorted and packed for distribution all the generously filled shoe boxes donated by our Verwood community for the Wessex Rotary Shoebox Scheme.
Thank you to everyone who took a shoebox and filled with gifts for children. Your generosity and kindness will undoubtedly help a child feel excited and happy to open at Christmas. The boxes will now be distributed by Rotary teams in Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, and Ukraine to make sure they get to children who need them.
