Verwood Rustic Fayre 2026

The Rustic Fair 2026 was an incredible success, drawing wonderful crowds of families and friends for a fantastic day out. Thanks to good weather and a packed schedule of sights and activities, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

The Rotary Club would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and supported the event. We are especially grateful to our dedicated members and volunteers who generously gave up their time behind the scenes and on the ground to make the day run so smoothly.

Verwood Rustic Fayre 2026 Highlights

BMX stunt show High-flying freestyle action, packed with jumps, tricks and crowd-pleasing stunts, with two performances during the Fayre. After each show, you can meet the riders and receive a free signed poster.

Classic vehicle show Vote for your favourite to win ‘Best in Show’! A selection of vehicles will take part in ‘start your engines’ so you can enjoy hearing some amazing engines rev.

Live music We have a brass band, steel drums, bands, ukuleles and a choir this year. Music for every taste!

Country Corner Meet miniature horses and sign up to run one around a showjump course. The six fastest will go into the arena later in the day.

Football corner Test your football skills with a range of games hosted by Verwood Town Youth Football Club.

Stalls galore Come browse and shop from an array of stallholders including talented makers, craftspeople and local producers.

Duck races Watch the ducks race to the finish line at the stream. You can buy ducks on the day to win great prizes.

Ancient Technology Centre Discover the Ancient Technology Centre’s hands-on ancient crafts, including the chance to have a go on a pole lathe, etch…

Dumbledore Vets Watch the best dog show in Verwood with categories including Most Handsome Boy, Prettiest Girl, Waggiest Tail, Best Trick and Golden Oldie.

Magic show Be amazed by our magician with close-up magic that will leave you lost for words.

Beer tent and Pimms stall

Free games area for all Enjoy a selection of free games and compete in a tug of war and egg catch.

Meet and greet Come and say hello to our guest of honour Jeff Mostyn, former Chair of AFC Bournemouth.

Find our magical, cycling and talking Sheridon the Sheepdog and have a chat with him!

1.30PM BMX Watch a professional BMX stunt crew perform a thrilling live show with huge jumps and aerial stunt tricks

2.15PM Taekwondo display Students from Stephen Lamberth’s School of Taekwondo, demonstrate this ancient form of unarmed combat & self-defence

2.45PM Classic vehicles engine run and ‘Best in Show’ Enjoy some of the classic vehicles rev their engines and vote for your favourite to win ‘Best in Show’

3.15PM BMX Come watch more incredible stunts, jumps and tricks

4.00PM Country Corner – mini horses Watch the fastest runners compete in the mini horses final

4.30PM Duck Races Cheer on the ducks as they race down the stream!
