To make the most of the Verwood Rustic Fayre, it’s a great idea to plan your day in advance, as there’s an abundance of activities and attractions for the whole family.

What you need to know
When is it?
The Rustic Fayre will be held on the Bank Holiday Monday, 25th August 2025 at Potterne Park, Verwood, BH2 16RS. Gates open to the public around mid day and will the Fayre will close around 5pm.
How Do I get there?
By car: There is vehicle access to Potterne Park via Potterne Way.
By Bus : Buses run a Sunday service and details should be checked on their website by following this link X6 – Poole to Bournemouth | morebus
By Taxis: Taxi to BH216RS. Ringwood Taxis
On Foot: A footpath entrances are via Potterne Way, (///pelting.moss.interviewer) or across the footbridge at Hazleewood Road ( ///motivates.unclaimed.readers) or from Moors Valley Country Park.
How much is the entry fee and how can I pay?
Entry has been held as last year at just £7 per person with accompanied children free. Remember all profits from the event are donated to local causes.
Payment to the park is by either card or cash.
Where can I find out what is going on and what stalls will be at the event ?
Our Free programme our being delivered to houses within Verwood. These free programmes are also available at the major retail outlets within Verwood including Morrisons, Co Op, Lidl and numerous other outlets.
There will be a large map detailing locations within the Fayre at each entrance. There is also a map within the free brochure
Where can I park my car?
Free parking is included in the entry price and is available within Potterne Park and access is gained to the free parking via Potterne Way.
I have a Blue Badge is there accessible parking?
There is designated blue badge parking again via Potterne Way. These will be clearly signed.
Is there a discount for disabled people or blue badge holders?
There are no concessions offered on the price for entry although discretion will be always be used by our staff at the point of entry.
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are welcome, no restrictions on age and all our admitted free of charge. We remind dog owners to ensure they bring poo bags and pick up after your dog.
Are there toilets and accessible toilets at the event?
There are both free toilets and accessible toilets on site.
If I leave the event, do I have to pay to come back in?
There is free re-admission, just let the staff know on the gate that you are leaving by. Free re-entry will be via the exit gate used.
What happens if my child wanders off and I lose my child what do I do?
There is a loss child process in place and anyone requiring this service is asked to report to the Rotary tent or the arena announcement centre as soon as possible.
Is there a first aid tent or First Aid facilities on site?
There are first aid facilities situated next to the Rotary Tent.
Can I still access Potterne Park even though I don’t want to attend the Fayre?
Limited access to parts of Potterne Park are still available for those wishing to use the connecting footpaths to Moors Valley etc. The children’s play area is not accessible.
