Club members were delighted to support the Sheiling School’s Summer Festival on Saturday 20th June. This year the school were celebrating 75 wonderful years of care, education and community and this annual event was bigger and better than ever for all who came along. There were an exciting range of activities and attractions for all the family to enjoy and all proceeds raised will go towards gym equipment for the students. The photograph shows some club members and volunteers on car park duty.

About the Sheiling School

Located in a beautiful, 45-acre woodland setting near Ringwood on the Hampshire-Dorset border, The Sheiling Ringwood (which includes the Sheiling School and Sheiling College) is an independent Camphill Rudolf Steiner special educational trust. Celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2026, the school provides day and residential education and tailored therapeutic care for children and young people aged 5 to 25 with severe, complex, or moderate learning disabilities, including autism and challenging behaviors. Grounded in a holistic “heart, head, and hands” approach, the school integrates a creative, hands-on curriculum with a multi-disciplinary support team offering speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, eurythmy, and craft workshops. Its peaceful, sustainable campus features eco-friendly teaching spaces, organic gardens, a gym, and an indoor swimming pool, all designed to foster real-life learning experiences, independence, and personal growth in a nurturing community setting.
