Members recently enjoyed a club night with Simon Hoare MP joining us after dinner to share anecdotes about becoming an MP and life in parliament.

Simon has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for North Dorset since 2015. Known for his articulate and often candid contributions in Parliament, Hoare has focused on rural affairs, planning policy, and Northern Ireland matters. As of recent years, he has held the position of Chair of the Northern Ireland Affairs Committee, where he has played a key role in scrutinising issues related to Brexit and the peace process.
